You should be comfortable using a computer browser. All of our work will be done either in chat or on the Moodle. We recommend FireFox and Safari.
No math background is required, although students who have some exposure to simple algebra may find that this will help them understand number-based data charts.
About two to three hours per week is necessary in addition to chat to read assigned internet sites, complete the Moodle exercises, and work on the student projects. Students preparing for AP history or literature courses may optionally do more complex assignments. There are no exams.
This is an ungraded summer enrichment course. If you require a grade or credit for your work, contact the instructor. You may be required to do extra projects for academic credit.
