The HTML course introduces the basics of website design, including

• website server, domain name server, and client browser functions
• page head and body sections, paragraphs, and line breaks
• font types, size, color
• hyperlinks to static web pages and multimedia, named anchors, email addresses
• ordered and unordered lists
• tables, rows, columns, merged cells, borders, and colors
• forms and input objects like text fields, radio buttons, and checkboxes
• CGI and Javascript
• images and thumbnails, image maps, and other multimedia
• CSS files
• Principles of good design: layout and usability
• HTML Validation and testing

This course is offered through Scholars Online, a non-profit organization supporting classical Christian education through Internet-based courses.
