Forces of Nature Lab
Design a lab experiment to measure some physical phenomenon. There are a number of "do-it-yourself" (DIY) websites for physics experiments, as well as science fair sites, where you can get ideas. Then draft a lab instruction set for you lab, including materials, procedures, data handling, and report expectations.
Carry out your lab, and evaluate your experience. Did your lab turn out as you expected? How could you improve measurements and reduce error? How could you better represent data from your observations?
