Week 3: Weak nouns and some rudimentary phonology

Please read and study: §§22-32.

Vocabulary groups 1-7 (Word-Hoard)

Please prepare: Practice sentences, C; Fall of Man, vv. 1-9.

This may be more than you can manage, but in my experience the syntax of Old English is not so complicated that you can’t make a reasonably good stab at it by using the glossary (at the back of the book) and some ingenuity. If you get stuck, push on — the idea is not to get bogged down, but to prove to yourself that you can read it.
